Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data Tetra Labs LLC collects, how we use it, and the privacy rights available to you, including rights under the Connecticut Data Privacy Act (CTDPA).
Last updated: 29 July 2026
1. Who We Are
Tetra Labs LLC ("Tetra Labs", "we", "us", or "our") is an industrial holding company organized under the laws of the State of Connecticut, United States. For purposes of the Connecticut Data Privacy Act ("CTDPA"), we act as the controller responsible for the personal data processed through this website and our related services. This policy applies to residents of Connecticut and to other visitors to our website.
2. Scope
This policy covers personal data we collect through our website and business operations. It does not apply to third-party websites or services that we do not own or control. We may provide additional or supplemental notices for specific activities where required by law.
3. Categories of Personal Data We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal data, depending on how you interact with us:
- Identifiers and contact data — such as your name, email address, company, phone number, and the contents of any message you send us through our inquiry form.
- Internet and network activity — such as your IP address, browser type, device information, referring pages, and how you interact with our website. See our Cookies Policy for details.
- Inferences — limited, aggregated insights drawn from the above to help us understand and improve how our website is used.
We do not collect or process "sensitive data" as defined under the CTDPA (such as data revealing racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, health condition, sexual orientation, citizenship or immigration status, genetic or biometric data, or precise geolocation). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
4. Sources of Personal Data
We collect personal data directly from you when you contact us or use our website, and automatically through cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website.
5. How We Use Your Personal Data
- To respond to your inquiries and communicate with you.
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve our website and services.
- To analyze site usage on an aggregated basis.
- To protect the security and integrity of our systems and prevent fraud or misuse.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
6. How We Share Personal Data
We may disclose personal data to:
- Service providers ("processors") who process data on our behalf under contract — for example, our email delivery provider and analytics provider.
- Professional advisers such as legal and accounting professionals.
- Authorities or other parties where required by law, to comply with legal process, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
- Successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
7. We Do Not Sell Your Personal Data or Use It for Targeted Advertising
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not process it for targeted advertising or for profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning you. Because we do not engage in these activities, there is no need to opt out of them; however, you may still contact us with any questions.
8. Your Connecticut Privacy Rights
If you are a Connecticut resident, the CTDPA gives you the right to:
- Confirm and access — confirm whether we process your personal data and access that data.
- Correct — correct inaccuracies in your personal data.
- Delete — request deletion of personal data we hold about you.
- Portability — obtain a copy of your personal data in a portable and, to the extent technically feasible, readily usable format.
- Opt out — opt out of the sale of personal data, targeted advertising, and certain profiling (noting that, as described above, we do not conduct these activities).
9. How to Exercise Your Rights
To submit a rights request, email us at info@tetralabs.us or use our contact form. We will respond within 45 days, and may extend this period once by an additional 45 days where reasonably necessary, in which case we will inform you of the extension. There is no fee for a verifiable request, unless it is manifestly unfounded, excessive, or repetitive. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request; if we cannot verify it, we may decline to act and will explain why.
Authorized agents
You may use an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request on your behalf, provided we can verify the agent's authority to act for you.
Right to appeal
If we decline to act on your request, you may appeal our decision by contacting us using the same details within a reasonable time. We will respond in writing within 60 days and explain the reasons for our decision. If your appeal is denied, you may submit a complaint to the Connecticut Attorney General at portal.ct.gov/AG.
10. Opt-Out Preference Signals
Some browsers and extensions offer a Global Privacy Control (GPC) or similar "Do Not Track" signal. Because we do not sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising, these signals do not change our processing; regardless, we honor applicable opt-out preferences as required by law.
11. Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When personal data is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
12. Data Security
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. Children's Privacy
Our website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. We do not knowingly process the personal data of a consumer we know to be between the ages of 13 and 16 for targeted advertising or sale.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected by updating this page.
